Danny Ronen has a great nose. He has been using it to sniff out the new and exciting in the world of international wine, spirits, food and travel and is continuously thankful of the people and experiences which have lead him down this delightful and irreverent path.

When global food and beverage companies seek an educator with expertise in development and sustainability, they turn to Ronen. His passion for environmentally-conscious practices has made him a sought-after advocate for forward-thinking in the industry.

In 2001, Ronen launched DC Spirits, a premier food, wine and spirits educational organization. He is a frequent speaker on topics such as: spirit sustainability, craft spirits and profitability, beverage product development and organic/fair trade practices.

Ronen conducts event planning, brand building and development for clients such as Diageo, Moet-Hennessy, Pernod-Ricard, Campari, Heaven Hill, Plymouth, Beefeater, Mighty Leaf Tea, Java Juice, Cynar, and Del Maguey Mezcal.

Ronen is the Senior Educator and Director of Sustainable Programs for Kathy Casey Liquid Kitchen, where he is involved in an array of projects, including innovation and development, product launch & activation and training and openings for clients such as the Fairmont and Raffles hotels, even including workplace efficiencies, recycling and composting.

Also a prolific writer and creator, Ronen's writing and concotions can be found in the NY Times, SF Chronicle, Imbibe, Sunset, and Tasting Panel, where you can read about many of the trend-setting and inspiriring cocktails Ronen has created for clients, politicos and entertainers around the world. At Fox Searchlight's Oscar Party, his Wolowidnyk-inspired Passage To India #2 was a featured cocktail, garnering attention from the Slumdog Millionaire Academy Award-winning cast and crew, as well as Vanity Fair Magazine and the Napa Valley Register.
